Sir Paul McCartney Announces US Tour
2005-04-20 - Rock legend Sir Paul McCartney has announced a 28-date "US" tour
kicking off on September 16 at Miami's American Airlines Arena.
The tour will conclude on November 29 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with
stops beforehand in Boston, New York, Las Vegas, Seattle, Omaha and Chicago
among other cities.

Neil Young is recovering is hospital after being treated in New York for a brain aneurysm
2005-04-04 - The 59 year old underwent a successful operation on Saturday night according to
yesterday’s Observer and is currently recuperating. Young will unfortunately
miss his performance at the Canadian Juno Awards.
In a statement issued by his publicist Young said he was disappointed to miss

The drummer of the Australia-based rock band Crowded House has been found hanged in a park in Melbou
2005-03-28 - Paul Hester, 46, had last been seen alive on Friday night, when he left his home
with his dogs. Ambulance officers said he had "attempted suicide" and
died from strangulation. He was already dead when they arrived at the scene.
Hester played with New Zealand group Split Enz before forming Crowded House with

BLACKFOOT DRUMMER JAKSON SPIRES IS DEAD
2005-03-22 - Jakson Spires, the powerhouse drummer behind legendary Southern Rock songs
"Train, Train," "Highway Song" and "Wishing Well,"
died March 16th in the hospital in Florida where he had been on life support
since Sunday. Jakson suffered what has been described as "something like a
brain aneurysm," with a blood vessel bursting in his head.
